JESSIE RAE SHARP RITES HELD TODAY
Week's Illness Fatal to Dover Woman
Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Rae Sharp, who succumbed to a week's illness from a complication of diseases at her home near Dover Saturday, were conducted from the Dover Christian Church this afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. Ora McDaniel officiating. Burial was in the Dover cemetery. Mrs. Sharp was born thirty-six years ago in Boone county, the daughter of James W. and Mary A. (Jordan) Carter, both of whom are deceased. She was married November 24, 1910, at Danville, Ill., to Millard Sharp, who survives.
Besides her husband, she leaves three children, Dorothy Evelyn and Anna Ruth at home and Fred Sharp, a student in Central Northal College in Danville, Ind.; four brothers, W.C. Carter and Harold Carter of Indianapolis, Warren Carter and Roy E. Carter of North Salem, and four sisters, Mrs. Awilda Dillon of Pittsboro, Mrs. Amanda Acton and Mrs. Myrtle Dickerson of this county, and Mrs. Della Dossett of Frankfort. A brother, Hother Carter, and a sister, Wyonna Carter are deceased.
