She was married to James William Haney, who preceded her in death the 8th day of January, 1932. To this union six children were born; Ruby Haney, (who preceded her in death), Alpha Haney of Long Lane, Clifford and Truman Haney of Buffalo, and Pvt. Burley Haney who is serving with the Army in Japan.
On March 19, 1933 she was married to Sam Jasper; to his union 3 children were born; Nancy Lambeth of the home and 2 other children who died in infancy, also 2 step children Pauline and John of Buffalo.
Besides her children, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Robert Turner of Buffalo, 5 sisters; Eula of Springfield, Bertha of Kansas, Maudie and Gertha of California, Lizzie of Elkland. Four brothers' Bill and Elmer of Buffalo, Joe of Elkland and Robert of Miami, Missouri. Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by one sister, Annie, and one uncle Sam Evans.
At the age of 18, she professed faith in Christ and united with the Mt. Pleasant Church and was a faithful member until death. She was a loving mother to all her children and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 24, 1952 at 2 p.m. at the L.B. Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Luckey officiating. Interment was in the Powell Cemetery under direction of L.B. Jones Funeral Home.
