Allison (also seen as Alison) Theo PLESS was the eldest son of Isaiah and Talitha (nee HICE) PLESS, b. 1842 in NC. He enlisted as a Private 3 Jul 1862 at Gilmer Co., GA in Co. D of the 6th GA Cavalry (part of "Smith's Legion") for a period of 3 years, and was captured at Camp Pine Knot in Campbell Co., TN 28 Dec 1862 and taken to Vicksburg, MS as part of a prisoner exchange.His first marriage was to Rebecca A. BRAMLETT (nee ANDERSON) 18 Aug 1867 in Jackson Co., AL. His second marriage was to Miss Maggie E. CARTER 19 Dec 1876 in St. Francis Co., AR. He had no known children with either wife.
