John E. Noonen, 78, of Washington Christian Village for the past several years and formerly of Princeville, died Monday, June 13, 1988, at Proctor Community Hospital in Peoria.
He was born June 25, 1909, in Princeville to William and Alice Byrnes Noonen.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Ruth Hardgrove of Danville; and several nieces and nephews. Four sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Walter Guede Post 593 and VFW Post 1255. He was a retired farm laborer.
Services were held Wednesday at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Princeville with the Rev. David Roche officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
