ASH, RAYMOND GERALD, age 66, of Springville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 5, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Carolyn Williams Ash; his father, Hyman H. Ash and mother, Katherine Sahm Ash. Survivors include two brothers, Murray Ash, Sr. of Moody and Ed Ash of Pell City; six children, Joanie Ash Mardis (Bruce), Gerald R. Ash (Natalee), Katherine Ann Ash Ferguson (Chris), Michael (Mickey) Ash, Judy Marie Johnson McCallie (Jim), and Vann Joey Johnson; fourteen grandchildren, Patrick Hare (Tina), Jeanie Mardis Accas (Chris), Graham Ash, Vann Johnson, Michael Mardis, Jay McCallie, Christina Ferguson, Christopher Ferguson, Jessie Johnson, Katie Mardis, Kimberly Ferguson, Jeremiah McCallie, River Ash and Carly Ferguson; four great grandchildren, Gabrielle Accas, Kenzie Hare, Rylee Hare and Jordyn Accas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 8, 2005 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with Rev. Ray Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Springville Cemetery. Mr. Ash's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 7, 2005 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
