On Oct. 1, 1876, she was united in marriage to Wayne Foster at the home of the Rev. Hixon, east of Chariton. Mr. and Mrs. Foster were privileged to spend 50 years together and celebrated their golden wedding in 1926. Thirteen children, six boys and seven girls were born to this union.
