She was a native of Hattiesburg, and a resident of Lucedale. She was a retired telephone operator and a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. She died January 26 at the George County Hospital following a long illness.
She is survived by a son, David Anthony Allman of Pascagoula; a brother, James C. Allman of Vancleave; and three sisters, Clara Bell Burge and Virgie Mae Burge, both of Lucedale and Jensia Holland of Pascagoula.
The Funeral Mass was conducted by Father Louis Lohan. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. Fails Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers included William Burge, Sr., William Burge, Jr., Bobby Howell, Johnny Chisholm, Joe Holland and Delma Owen Holland.
