Married Lydia Stoner 19 Feb. 1891 [she lived 1875 - Oct. 1954, bur. with Emanuel in Mansfield Cemetery]. Emanuel died in Washington Twp., Richland Co., OH. Children: Charles Alfred Beer (1892-July 1948, bur. Trenton Cemetery, Trenton, Michigan), Harry Beer (1894-1980, mar. Emma Tobin), Martin E. Beer (1897-1971), Grace (b. 1898, mar. Bonner Strong, later mar. Herb Norrick), Pearl Rita Beer (1907-1945, mar. Harold Campbell), George Beer (1902-1962), Albert Beer, Chester Leroy Beer (mar. Dollie V. Colbert), Carl E. Beer (1912-1977, mar. Evelyn M. Oberlander), and Richard Beer (1916-1974, mar. Julianna Lucille Shutt). Sons Harry, George, Carl, and Richard are also buried in Mansfield Cemetery.
