Services for Lottie Lillard, 91, of 933 St. Louis Street, Lebanon, were held July 27 at Cross Roads Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Wilson officiating. Burial was in Cross Roads Cemetery with Dennis, Mike, Bruce and Daniel Murrell, Joe and Larry Lillard serving as escorts. Honorary escorts were Ace, Rocky, Randy and Steve Lillard, Ronald Pierce, Jim Drew and Joe Williams. Arrangements were under the direction of Holman Funeral Home.

Lottie Jane, daughter of the late William M. and Nancy (Jennings) Rogers, was born Sept. 13, 1893 and died July 24, 1985 in Breech Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Laclede County, she was united in marriage to Daniel Joseph Lillard on Feb. 20, 1910. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1941, a daughter Velma; a son Otis; her parents; four brothers, Tobe, Loyd, Rufus, and Claude; six sisters, Nancy and Susan Reid, Rose Lewis, Dora and Joyce Summers and Myrtle Rippy.

Lottie accepted Christ at an old fashioned revival meeting at Cross Roads Church and was baptized at Davis Ford and was the oldest member of the Cross Roads Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, piecing and quilting quilts.

Survivors include four daughters, Edith Montgomery of Bell, Fla.; Myrtle Lawson of Springfield; Agnes Murrell of Lebanon; and Ann Murrell of Hartford City, Ind.; five sons, Truman of Pennville, Ind.; Joe of Hartford City; Farrell of Elkhart, Ind,; Lowell of Alexandria, Ind.; and Don of Lebanon. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
