Death of Mrs. W. H. Conterman
Central Square, May 24. Mrs. Florence Conterman, wife of Dr. WilIiam H. Conterman, died at her home in Main street Saturday evening after a sickness of several months. Mrs. Conterman was born in this village fifty-one years ago: She was educated in the local High school and when a young woman was a public school teacher. In 1888 she was married to Dr. W. H. Conterman. They located in Cleveland, this county, where Mr. Conterman practised his profession for several years and then moved to Turin where they spent two years. About twenty years ago they moved to this village. Mrs. Conterman was a member of Elizabeth Caldwell chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Universalist church. Besides her husband, Mrs. Conterman is survived by three sons, Dr. Frank B. Conterman of this place; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Beeby, three sisters, Mrs. Judson Clark and Miss Katherine Beeby of Syracuse and Mrs. Fred Loren of Caughdenoy; two brothers, Charles 1*. Beeby and Fred Beeby of this village and a number of neices and nephews. The funeral was held at her late home at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. C. J . Cowing officiating. Burial was made in Hillside cemetery.
