Rev. Noah Shaw DeWitt was the son of Thomas and Polly (Shaw) DeWitt. Harriet (Peck) DeWitt was his 1st wife. They were married July 15, 1847. Harriet died September 27, 1849. Hannah (Peck) DeWitt was his 2nd wife. They were married June 15, 1850. Hannah died November 4, 1861. Eliza Ann (Peck) DeWitt was his 3rd wife. They were married April 6, 1861. Eliza died January 19, 1873. The first three wives were sisters. Eleanor M. (Howard) DeWitt was his 4th wife. They were married March 27, 1877. Eleanor died September 6, 1924. Rev. DeWitt was a minister in the Oneida Conference and Wyoming Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church and served 43 years in the ministry.
