Donald William Adams, Sr. 82, died Nov. 5, 2008, in Helena, MT.

Inurnment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Casper, WY.

Born July 18, 1926, in Cheyenne, he was the son of Charles and Katherine Adams.

On April 1, 1950, he married Carol Audrey Keithley in Kimball, NE. The couple renewed their wedding vows on their 50th anniversary in April of 2000, at the Church of Christ in Casper.

He was a World War II veteran, serving in the merchant patrols and as the President's Guard.

Mr. Adams was an over the road trucker for the Keebler Cookie and Cracker Company for 40 years.

His hobbies included taking care of his many rose bushes, his yard, the Church yard, and spending time with his family.

He spent his last few remaining months singing at the Ft. Harrison VA Hospital in Helena, MT.

Survivors include his three sons, Charles Adams of Missoula, MT, Kenneth Adams of Helena, MT, Donald Adams, Jr. of Casper, WY; daughter, Wilhelmina Rinto of Juneau, WI; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years; two sisters; mother and father; mother and father-in-law and four grandchildren.
