Biddle Louisa died April 12, being 69 years, 2 months and 25 days of age. At Elmore, Ohio on Jan. 17, 1868, a daughter was born to John and Louisa Avers. She was named Louisa after her mother and was one of 7 children in the family. All with her parents have died except two brothers, John L., and Charles G., both of whom live in Oklahoma. In 1892 she was married to Charles Biddle, and while they still lived in Ohio they had three sons - Walter, Elmer and Roy. While her boys were small a brother of hers and his wife died, leaving 6 orphaned children. To these she became like a mother. The family moved to Noble County in 1906 and became residents of near Albion. In 1918 Roy’s death occurred in the Army of the World War. She became a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and was the last remaining Gold Star Mother of Albion Chapter Post 246. Beside her husband and two sons, there are 8 grandchildren. Funeral at Lutheran Church in Albion Thursday. Burial, Rose Hill Cemetery. + 4-?-1937
