Beulah Mayberry 1912-2002

Beulah Mae Barber Mayberry, 90, of Ashland, KY, passed away Wednesday morning, Dec 4, 2002, following an extended illness. She was the widow of Henry Mayberry, who passed away in 1954. Mrs. Mayberry was born May 29, 1912, in Boyd Co KY, a daughter of the late George and Malinda Morris Barber. She was a cafeteria worker for 21 years at Fairview High School and was a machine operator with Ashland Crafts. She was a member of the Westwood Enterprise Baptist Church and was a former member of the Westwood Mystery club. Surviving are three sons, George Gary Mayberry and his wife, Geneva, of Winchester KY, William (Toby) Harrison Mayberry and his special friend, Mary, of Westwood KY and Henry Noble Mayberry of Lucasville, Ohio; one daughter, Judy McDowell and her husband, J.C. of Westwood; one brother, Kenneth G. Barber and his wife, Virginia, of Catlettsburg KY; one sister, Genevieve Stollings and her husband, Gaylord, of Westwood, five grandchildren, Judy Lynd, Ruth Ann, George Gary III, Jeff and Shawna Mae; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Friday Dec 6 2002 at Caniff Funeral Home Chapel in Westwood by the Rev. Mike Locklear and the Rev. W.W. Metz. Burial will follow in Dixon Cemetery in Westwood. Friends may call from 6-9 tonight and one hour before the service Frdiay at the funeral home.
