After her husband Simeon died in Colrain,Mass in 1848, Sally followed several of her children out to Illinois where they are all listed in 1860 census records.

"Grandmother Blandin" on Claire Crandell's list is Salla 'Sally' (Bishop) Blandin. She was born on 25 Oct 1773 as "Salla" and the last census that she was in (1860) listed her as "Polly," but most of her life her name was written as "Sally." She was born in Attleboro, MA and married Simeon Blandin in Colrain, MA. She moved to Timber Township with her children (Wheaton, William, Betsey, and possibly Simeon) during the 1850's after her husband died in Massachusetts. She lived with her children and died in Timber Township at Harkers Corner around 1867.
