COLLINS, MARIE PRICE - born July 28, 1918, in Sharp's Chapel, joined many of her loved ones in heaven on Monday morning February 7, 2011, after a short stay in St. Mary's Hospital. She was a member of Dutch Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands Walter H. Price and William E. Collins; parents John and Ida Keck; sisters Estelle Farmer, Dallas Russell, Inis Keck; son Nicholas D. Price; daughter-in-law Betty Price; granddaughter Christina Price. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Houston and Carolyn Price, Doug and Tammy Price, Gary and Ginger Price; daughters and sons-in-law Wilma and Wayne Grimes, Sondra and J.C. Newman and daughter-in-law Linda Price. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and nephew John Dykes. Special thanks to caregivers Ann Rutherford and grandson and wife Mark and Katherine Grimes. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. with Reverends Wayne Grimes and J.C. Newman officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Halls Chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home and proceed to Shoffner's Cemetery in Sharp's Chapel for a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the local Alzheimer's Association at 2200 Sutherland Avenue; Knoxville, TN 37919. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home in Halls. www.mynattfh.com
