Lester Matson Browning, 86, died on January 16, 1990 in Sacramento, California.


Born November 5, 1903 in Annis, Idaho, son of George Andrew and Emma Christina Matson Browning. Married Cleofa Webster on February 25, 1925; solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple in 1932. Retired from the Union Pacific Railroad.


Survived by wife, Cleofa; son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Hazel Browning, Sacramento, Calif; Daughter-in-law, Arlene Browning, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Rulon Browning, Twin Falls, Id.; Milon Browning, Provo. Preceded in death by son, Kenneth Browning.


Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 1990 at Mountain View Memorial Estates Mortuary, 3115 East Bengal Boulevard (7800 South), where friends may call 2 hours prior to services.
Interment: Mountain View Memorial Estates.
