Kenneth, the son of Earl August and Ella Ree Holder Coleman, was a resident of Prague. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy in World War II. He married Wanda Jean Sturmon on July 8, 2003 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Kenneth worked in oilfield as a finisher and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Arlington. His first wife, Patty Jean Gravitt Coleman preceded him in death in October 1998. Kenneth was also preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Coleman of the home; sons, Don Coleman of Shawnee, Frank Salmon of Tehachapi, California and Steve Salmon of Searcy, Arkansas; daughters, Jerri Groves of Shawnee, Cheryl Dunn of Quartzside, Arizona and Jeanie Hobbs of Couer d'Alene, Idaho; brother and sister-in-law, John and JoAnn Coleman of Prague; sister, Norma Anderson of Seminole; twenty grandchildren and thirty seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 1, 2008, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Sharon Capron officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
