Wanda Cash - JOHNSON CITY
Mrs. Wanda Jeanette Cash, age 62, Johnson City, died Saturday, November 8, 2008, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Cash was a life long resident of Johnson City and daughter of Glen Story, Jonesborough, and the late Lydia Story. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Cash was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Stanford Cash.

She was a member of Greater Anointing Assembly of God, Johnson City. She had an impact on everyone she met.

Mrs. Cash was a homemaker.

She had lived on dialysis for eight years.

In addition to her father, survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy & Chris Cash, Johnson City; one son and daughter-in-law, Tim & Katie Smith, Johnson City; two brothers and sister-in-law, Danny Story and Marvin & Helen Story, all of Jonesborough; one sister, Virginia Story, Jonesborough; five grandchildren, Nicholas Cash, Abigail Cash, Billy Cash, all of Johnson City, Brittany Daniele Cox and Samantha Jane Cox, both of Piney Flats; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the dialysis family and nursing staff on the 5500 floor of the Johnson City Medical Center for their wonderful care.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, November 10, 2008, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Thompson and Rev. Terry Radford officiating. Interment will follow at Cherry Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bill Shepherd, Martin Butler, Mike Shell, Tim Delaney and Matt Murphy.
