Mary Jo Barrickman
Mary Jo Bickers Barrickman, 79, of Carrollton, Ky., died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Signature Health Care in Bedford, Ky.
She was born Aug. 12, 1935, in Carrollton, Ky., to Homer John and Mattie Ellen Carter Bickers. She was a housewife and a homemaker. She was a member of the Carrollton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Donald E. Howard of Warsaw, Ky.; one daughter, Vanessa Ann Gilbert of Shelbyville, Ky.; one brother, Gilbert Bickers of Mount Sterling, Ky.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Barrickman, who died Feb. 26, 2011; her parents; five brothers, Roy Bickers, Jackie Bickers, Homer Bickers Jr., William Bickers and Fred โDougโ Bickers; and one sister, Evelyn Stewart.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Carrollton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, Ky.
Friends may call at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky., from 5 to 8 p.m. today and at the church Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service.
