Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Calvary Baptist Church for Mrs. Alba S. Johnson, 1402 N. Cameron, who died Friday in Hoemako Hospital. Wesley McAfee, minister from San Jose, Calif., and John Kuffel, pastor, will conduct the services.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday evening at the Cole and Maud Mortuary chapel, 215 S. Washington St.
Mrs. Johnson was born Nov. 23, 1888 in Peachtree, NC. A charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Mrs. Johnson had resided here for 50 years.
Her husband, James Calvin Johnson, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons: Clarence, of Maricopa, Lawrence and Jake, both of Casa Grande, Alvin, of Mesa, and Homer,
of Sacramento, CA; her daughters: Elma McAfee, of Portales, NM, Nellie Rogers, of Arizona City, and Elsie Glisson, of Huntsville, AR; her sister, Dorchia Hagamen, of Sacramento, CA; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
