Bobbye Joyce went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2004. She was born September 30, 1929 near Purcell, Okla. She was preceded in death by parents, Brit and Emma Hendrix and ten siblings. She leaves behind the love of her life, Art Jackson, to whom she was married for 55 years; two sons, Phil and wife Patty of Pryor, Oklahoma and Jeff and wife Karen of Dothan, Alabama; three granddaughters, Morgan, Hannah, and Sarah; one great grandson, Colson; three sisters, Bonnie Giannoe and husband Jim of Oklahoma City, Dorothy Fooks and husband Gene of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Lilly Noble of Arlington, Texas; one twin brother to Lilly, Billy Hendrix of Arlington, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and relatives. Bobby Joyce graduated from Choctaw High School. After working in the public for several years, she devoted her time as a fulltime homemaker. She loved the game of golf and played as long as her health allowed. She will be missed by many of her golf buddies and friends. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to: Frontier Hospice, 3908 N. Peniel, Bethany, OK 73008. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 4, 2005, in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 3:30 P.M. in Arlington Memorial Gardens, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd. RESTHAVEN FUNERAL HOME S.W. 104TH AT WALKER 691-1661
