LLOYD BECK

Lloyd Beck, a prominent and lifelong resident of Warrior's Mark valley, died at his home at Warrior's Mark Saturday morning at 2:15 o'clock following seven weeks' illness with a complication of diseases.

Mr. Beck was a son of David and Esther (Funk) Beck and was born at Warrior's Mark on April 29, 1852. In 1884 he was united in marriage with Miss Nancy Catherine Buck who died in 1930.

He is survived by four sons and one daughter: R. M. Beck and Clifford L. Beck, of Altoona; Aden F. Beck, Perkasie, Pa.; Willard R. Beck, of New York City, and Miss Zella M. Beck, at home; also five grandchildren. Mr. Beck was the t last of his immediate family.

He was a member of the Warrior's Mark Methodist Episcopal church. Mr. Beck followed the occupation of farmer many years, retiring from active work some years ago.

Funeral services will be held in the Warrior's Mark Methodist Episcopal church on Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, in charge of Rev. W. N. Hoover and Rev. David M. Kerr. Burial will follow in the Spring Mount cemetery.

Lloyd Beck

Lloyd Beck died at his home at Warriors Mark, Huntingdon county, at 2 o'clock this morning of complications incident to advanced years.

He Was born at Warriors Mark on April 29, 1852, being the son of David and Esther (Funk) Beck. He was the last of a family of seven children. His wife, Mrs. Catherine (Buck) Beck died in 1930. Surviving are four sons and on daughter, Raymond M. and Clifford L. Beck of Altoona, Aden V. Beck of Perkasie, Pa., William R. Beck of New York City and Miss Zella Beck at the home Tbere are also five grandchildren.

Mr. Beck was a retired farmer and a lifelong resident of Warriors Mark valley. He was a member of the Methodist church at Warriors Mark.

The funeral services were held this Monday afternoon at 2:30 o' clock at the Warriors Mark Methodist church. Interment In the cemetery at Warriors Mark.
