Richard Frank Whaley, 81, of Waco, passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 8, in Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Huff officiating.

Frank was born in Eddy, Texas, to the late Earl Franklin and Ethel Lucy Mae (McAllister) Whaley. He was in the U.S. Army, retired from the Texas Highway Department and was a member of the 1st Church Of The Nazarene for 54 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice (Jackson) Whaley, in 2005; a daughter, Sharon Haug, in 2002; and granddaughter, Tracy Haug.

Survivors include his daughters, Mary Kind and husband, Kenneth, of Lacy-Lakeview, and Janice Felkner and husband, Henry, of China Spring; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
