Their children were Christopher Lavert; William Thompson; Henry Bascomb; Robert Jasper; Mary Rebecca; Nancy Elisabeth; Alis O.; Amanda Clemintine and Martha B. Grissom.
(On stone) Joined the M.E. Chuch at New Hope and remained here until March 8, 1898 and was transplanted from the church Militant to the church triumphant. Come on dear husnband, children, and friends, and let us meet around the Throne of God to swell the number with those that have gone before.
