Miss Harty died early Thursday morning in home of her sister, Mrs. James Duncan, after several months illness.
Rev. E.J. Bratkowski officiated.
Pallbearers were Eric Eagleston, Ted O'Neill, Robert Moran, Dale Dancer, William Colgan and Louis Westefer.
Interment was in St. Dominic's Cemetery east of Wyoming.
Miss Harty was a daughter of James and Rosabelle Swanson Harty and was born January 21, 1896, in Wyoming. She had lived in Wyoming community and Peoria all her life.
She attended Wyoming schools, Academy of Our Lady in Peoria and Bradley University and was a member of Sigma Delta sorority. She was a member of Wyoming St. Dominic's church, Altar and Rosary Society and Third Order of St. Francis.
For many years she was a secretary for a government agency in Peoria. After returning to Wyoming, she operated a tavern in the Harty building for several years after death of her father, before selling his business.
Miss Harty is survived by a sister, Mrs. Madeline Duncan, of Wyoming, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Harty, Eillah Phillips and Margaret Boyd.
