Ramona Cox Anderson, 84, of 84 S. Beach St., Ormond Beach, Fla., formerly of Chillicothe, died Saturday May 11, 2002, at her home. Born Jan. 8, 1918, in Cascade, Iowa, to Dr. Lawrence F. and Catherine Hickey Barrett, she married Raymond Cox on Nov. 11, 1955. He died Nov. 16, 1966. She later married Samuel Anderson on Feb. 17, 1973. She was preceded in death by eight siblings.
A World War II veteran, she served as a chauffeur in the Women's Army Corps. She was a member of the American Legion.
She later was an obstetrics nurse, a milliner in Chillicothe and an antiques dealer.
Cremation has been accorded. Burial of ashes will be in the church cemetery.
