Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Fry-Holland funeral Home in Vinton for Mrs. Ora Broeffle. Rev. Ben Sanderson officiated with burial in the Brandon Cemetery. Mrs. Broeffle, 73, died in the Vinton hospital early Sunday morning. She was a native of Brandon born here Dec 4, 1890, a daughter of James and Josephine Bearbower. She was married to Clifford Broeffle Sept 30, 1907 who preceded her in death Sept 23, 1961. Surviving are a son, Milo of Oelwein, two daughters, Doris Maher of Brandon and Helen Kirby of Independence, three brothers; Claude Bearbower of Bremerton, Wash., and John and Harry of Brandon, seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
