James Rodney Stringham, passed away on November 5, 2008 just short of his 101st birthday.
He was born November 8, 1907 in West Bountiful, Utah, son of Dr. Briant and Sabina Smith Stringham. He was the sixth child of nine children and was the last surviving sibling. He married Cora Roberts on June 25, 1930 in the Salt Lake Temple. She passed away on October 27, 1971. He married Louise Smoot Hanson on November 12, 1973.
Survived by his wife Louise, daughter-in-law Colette, daughter Mary Wild (Wendell), and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings and son LaMar.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the West Bountiful 2nd Ward Chapel, 840 North 800 West. A viewing will be held from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment will be held in the Bountiful Memorial Park Cemetery.
