He married the former Ella Halverson on September 15, 1954. He has farmed all his life in the Cottage Grove/Deerfield area. Survivors include his wife and one step-daughter, Mrs. Richard Olson at Madison and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held in the Holzhuter Funeral Home, Deerfield, at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 7, Rev. James Steinbrecher officiating. Burial in the Liberty Prairie Cemetery.
