Services Wednesday for William Thomas
Funeral services for William B. Thomas, 51, of Kentuck inlet will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Grimm mortuary in North Bend. Interment will be in the Indian cemetery at Kentuck inlet.
Mr. Thomas died Saturday morning from injuries believed by peace officers to have been inflicted in a fight near Hauser sometime Thursday.
An inquest into Mr. Thomas' death was convened at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon by Coroner Brewer Mills.
Mr. Thomas was born 24 May 1905 in North Bend and had lived in this area all his life. He is survived by three brothers, Jack, Charles and George Thomas all of North Bend and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Iwonishki of Portland.
