BOZE, Clifford O. - 6111 Peony, Venice, age 79, died Thursday, September 21, 1972, in Venice. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, at Mr. Vernon Sunset Hills Cemetery. Mr. Boza[stet] will lie in state at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd. Family will receive friends on Sunday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mrs.[stet] Boze was born in Ansonia, Ohio, February 6, 1893, and had been a resident of Flint for most of his life. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans Genesee Chapter No. 3 of Flint, Church of God of Osprey, Florida, and had been employed as a salesman and did clerical work in the Flint area for many years. Surviving are: Wife, Nina; 2 sons, Stuart of Flint, Harlan of Fenton; 3 daughters, Mrs. Roy Pike of Harbor Springs, Michigan, Mrs. Betty Austin of Venice, Florida, Mrs. William D. Furlong of Mansfield, Ohio; 3 sisters, Mrs. Orva Lanich of Gettysberg, Ohio, Mrs. Alice Cohee of Flint, Mrs. Byron Burke of Union, Ohio; 2 brothers, William and Ralph both of Flint; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces and other relatives.
