His early life was spent in Strongstown. For the past 44 years he had lived in Pittsburgh, He had been employed as a conductor for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad 43 years.
He is survived by his widow, Jennie Stephens Stiles, two sons, Melvin and Russell and two daughters, Mrs. Fap Bolton and Miss Gladys Stiles. Two grandchildren and these brothers and sisters also survive: John, George, Mrs. Ella Duncan and Mrs. Mary Conway.
Friends will be received at Robinson's 36 N. Seventh Street, Indiana , after 7:00 o'clock this evening. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Camerons Bottom Roman Catholic Church. Wednesday morning at 11:00 o'clock. Father A.C. Marzhauser will officiate. Interment will be in the Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown. 8-12-47
