SUPERVISOR DIES
Lucedale February 14-
P.M. Byrd 62, life-long resident of George County and a member of the Board of Supervisors from Beat 3, died at his home 12 miles South of Lucedale and was buried at the Basin Cemetery, services being conducted by the Revs. Hollingsworth and Castles, Methodist ministers of Harleston and Lucedale.
Mr. Byrd was a farmer and timberman and was active in church and social affairs.
