Jessie was united in marriage to Stephen E. Fincham on May 26, 1909 and to this union were born 6 children,4 sons and 2 daughters. They made their home on various farms near Bluue Rapids, the last one being known as the "Fincham Farm", until ill health caused her husband to retire and moved to Blue Rapids in 1949. They made their home there until his death on Mar. 6, 1953. She then made her home at Concordia, KS and later at Perry, KS, where she passed away on Jan. 25, 1956 at the age of 87 yrs., 6 months, & 4 days.
She was a faithful member of the Methodist Church in Blue Rapids. She was a patient and loving wife and mother. Her friendly smile and loving disposition won her many friends.
She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 1 sister.
She was survived by her 6 children; Kenneth and Robert of Blue Rapids, KS, Lucile, Mrs. Noel Tucker, of Stafford, KS, Mary, Mrs. Bernard Spunaugle, of Irving, KS, Linus and Rollin of Marysville, KS; 12 grandchildren and 1 sister, Mrs. W. E. Lea of Coeur'd Alene, Idaho; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Burial was in Fairmont Cemetery, Blue Rapids, KS
