My Aunt Maxine is remembered as THE STORY LADY at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA where she strolled the streets weaving tales of the Gold Rush Days dressed to the hilt in her many costumes of that era.
Maxine's mother was Lillian Habstrit from MN and father was George Bohnert from NE. Maxine was an only child.
Lillian died of breast cancer when Maxine was only 12 yrs of age.
Little family history survived.
