Todd had a grocery store in Elkhart, called "Quarles Grocery". Don't know when he opened it, but it was there in 1955, when I moved to Elkhart. I think he sold it to Tommy Grigsby and Travis Rials in the early 1960's.
Then it became "Rials Grocery". Irene (Daniels) Rials and Irene (Rials)Grigsby ran the store. Ora Rainey was Meat Market Employee for both Quarles Grocery and Rials Grocery. Mary Rainey Quarles (her sister) widow of Norman Paxton Quarles worked there also.
