Ina was born to Charles & Laura (Blacker) Bowles. She grew to womanhood in the Jewell County community. She became a member of the McCabe Methodist Church. On Feb. 14, 1912, she was married to Curtis Worden. To this union a son, C. Lorraine, & 3 daughters, Velma, Opal & Bonnie, were born. They established & maintained a happy home in the Jewell Community. Then Mr. Wordens health began to fail, while he was yet a young man. In 1929, the happiness of the home was broken by his death. However, the family farm home was maintained by Ina, with the help of her children, The oldest being 15 years at the time. The youngest was 3 yrs.
She tenderly cared for her children, until they were married & in homes of their own. When this was accomplished, she moved to near Mitchell, NE, Scottsbluff County, to be near her children. She passed away at West Nebraska General Hospital, at Scottsbluff, after an illness of less than 3 weeks.
