Nick, J.C. "Johnnie B. Good"

Services for J.C. "Johnnie B Good" Nick, 82, Tyler, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Pine Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Towns officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Springs Cemetery under direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors, Lindale.

Mr. Nick died Nov. 4, 2008, at his residence. He was born on February 6, 1926, in Colfax, La., to Johnnie and Angie Dubois Nick, and lived in Louisiana before moving to the Tyler area in 1947. He was a self-employed vendor and a member of Pine Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Nick, Tyler; sons, Jerry Nick and Howard Nick, both of Tyler; daughters, Diane Munn and Judy Sockwell, both of Lindale; brothers, Clinton Nick, Tyler, and Howard Nick, Denton; sisters, Lucille Antee, Colfax, La., Laverne Johns, West Monroe, La., and Viola Smith, Jonesboro, La.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
