Frank s/o Cecil Dare & Ethel (Predeaux)Dawley. Frank passed away at the Norton County Hospital in Norton. At the age 72yrs 10 months & 19 days.
He grew to manhood on the farm in Norton County and attended the Washington Grade School. He married Doris McFarren at her parents home in McCracken on July 2, 1944. They made their home in Ness City, LaCrosse and Dighton before returning to Norton in 1950 where he worked as a welder of heavy machinery.
He attended the Methodist Church and was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the S.P.P.A. and enjoyed volunteering his time at the Norton racetrack and fairgrounds.
Survivors include his wife, Doris of the home in Norton; two sons, Robert Franklin of Belvidere, Nebraska; David Warren Dawley, Norton; two daughters Karen Dee Brownlee, Las Vegas, Nevada & Debra Lynn Conner, Concordia, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one sister.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 15, 1995 at 10 am at the Enfield Funeral Home, Norton; Burial in the Norton Cemetery. Rev. Jack Kersenbrock officiated.
