Clarence Edwin Wagstaff, Sr. returned home to his Father in Heaven October 31, 1998, after a courageous battle with cancer in Centerville surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born June 22, 1918, in Heber City, Utah, to Joseph Alma and Hazel Mitchell Wagstaff.

He married Lenna Mary Burr July 11, 1939, marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple September 5, 1939.

Active in many organizations of the LDS Church including a temple worker. His great love in life was his eternal companion. They were always together traveling and enjoying each other's company.

He graduated from Park City High School in 1936 and served in the U.S. Army. He also attended USU.

Survived by his wife, Lenna Wagstaff. Children: Noama Sessions, Clarene (James) Woods; Margaret (Doug) Wardle; Edwin (Valorie) Wagstaff; Alma (Amy) Wagstaff; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. A brother, Shirl Alma (Irene) Wagstaff.

Preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, James Woods, and a great-grandson, Ceilen Wardle.
