Mrs. Har, 95, of Rochester, died Friday (Oct. 31, 2008) at Madonna Towers.
Anne A. Blake was born Dec. 18, 1912, in Meyer, Iowa. Following graduation, she was employed at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. On Nov. 26, 1938, she married William Leo Har. The couple lived in Rochester. Mr. Har was a general building contractor and Mrs. Har was involved in the business. She continued to live in their home until 1999, when she moved to Madonna Towers
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Vivien Har of Rochester; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 28, 1976, five brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call an hour before the service at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester.
Memorials are preferred to Ronald McDonald House.
