Berneice "Babe" Franklin, of Irving, passed away Monday, October 27, 2008. She was born June 4, 1923 in Irving. She was a lifetime residence of Irving and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Thomas Jefferson Franklin Sr.; son Tommy Franklin; daughter Georgia Ann Thomas; grandchildren Chris Thomas, Michael Franklin, and Steven Franklin; and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Brown's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 5-7 PM Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association or to American Diabetes Association.
