MERRILL FERRON DELANGE
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Koosharem ward hall for Merrill Ferron DeLange, 26, who died Friday in the Salina hospital following an appendix operation.

Relatives and friends from Sevier, Emery, Piute, and Utah counties were in attendance at the services. Bishop E. C. Bagley presided. A tribute of sincere respect was as paid by the speakers John Nordfors of Annabella, a member of the South Sevier stake presidency; Andrew Anderson and Bishop Bagley, Musical numbers consisted of a hymn sung by the ward choir; a vocal solo by H. Clynn Thurston of Annabella, a vocal solo by Talmage DeLange of Richfield, a vocal duet by Leroy Hatch and Alvin Helquist of Richfield, with Mrs. Lizzle Hansen at the piano and a solo by Ellis Bagley with Mrs. Roland Anderson as accompanist. Sentiments were read by Mrs. Vernaldo Hatch. The opening prayer was as by J. F. DeLange; the benediction by Levi Sorenson of Aurora.

Pallbearers were Mack, Warren, and Jess, Anderson, Ellsworth and Vondell DeLange and Laver Hatch. The many beautiful flowers were carried by relatives.

John DeLange of Provo dedicated the grave interment being in the Koosharem cemetery.

Merrill Ferron DeLange was born bom at Koosharem, December 27, 1910, a son of Albert and Louisa Hatch DeLange. He had been a resident of Koosharem all his life. His occupation was that of a farmer and sheep shearer. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Helen Anderson DeLange, a daughter of Milton Anderson; one son, Merrill; his parents; five sisters and two brothers Vondell and Elsworth DeLange, Mrs. C. L. Leavitt, Mrs. Mazel Nielson, Alverda, Glenndona and Oranell DeLange, all of Koosharem and a grandmother, Mrs. Mary A. Hatch of Koosharem.
