Mr. Donald Curtis Anderson, age 54, of Griffin, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2007 at Spalding Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Anderson was born in Madison, Minn. on Aug. 11, 1952 to Mrs. Berenice Anderson and the late Donald M. Anderson. Mr. Anderson was also preceded in death by a daughter, Naomi Anderson. He was a member of the Midway United Methodist Church. He was employed with the Federal Aviation Administration as a supervisor of the Environmental Systems Service Center at the Atlanta Air Route Traffic Control Center in Hampton, where worked for 32 years. Mr. Anderson served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam from 1971"1975.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Anderson; mother, Berenice Anderson of Fayetteville; son, Donald James Anderson of Griffin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Sibel Anderson of Woodstock, Jerry and Jamie Anderson of Roswell; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Jerry Karels of Big Stone, S.D., grandson, Casey Jones, stepson, David Cummings of Milner; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Donald Curtis Anderson will be conducted Tuesday June 5, 2007 at 3 p.m., in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Ralph Nail will officiate. Interment will follow in Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Monday evening from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
