Born November 18, 1919, in Dade City, to Lawrence Robert and Jessie Geiger Adkins, she was a lifelong area resident. She is survived by her sisters, Maxine J. and husband, Maurice Chancey, of Zephyrhills, and Virginia M. and husband, Samuel P. Fair, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Taylor; and one sister, Loyce L. Schmidt. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at the 301 chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City.
Interment will follow at Dade City Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
