Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Jo Fischer. 73. Perry, will be at 10 A.M. Monday at the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Perry. Buried will be at Mount Calvary.
Miss Fischer died Thursday, March 5, 2009, at the Hickory Pointe Care Center in Oskalooska.
She was born September 14, 1935 in St. Mary's, Kansas, the daughter of Cornelia F. Trude Fischer. She graduated from Perry Rural High School in 1954.
Miss lived most of her life in the Perry community. She was a member of the St. Theresa Catholic Church and a member of the St Theresa Ladies Altar Soicty in Perry and a member of the Perry Rural Hope Club.
Survivors include a brother, John Flescher, and extended family, including an aunt, an uncle and many cousins.
Friends may call from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. Sunday, at Barnett Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. The family suggests memorials to Jefferson County Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home.
