Lola Malane Gonser, 89, of Montrose died on March 29, 2002 at Valley Manor Care Center. She was born on September 13, 1912 in Golden, Missouri to Thomas Alexander and Elizabeth Jane (Smith) Eden. She married Kenneth Clayton Gonser on December 23, 1933. He died on June 26, 1973. She is survived by her children, Frances Marian Mallett, Gerald Lee "Budge" Gonser, and Kenneth Clayton Gonser, Jr.; five grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory.
