"Mary Marie Seyfert, 59, Covington, died at 6:32 p.m. March 21, 1997 in Carle Hospital, Urbana, Illinois. She had been a patient since March 18. She was born September 3, 1937 at Attica, the daughter of Charles W. and Bessie M. Cambrin Borst. She married Melvin L. Seyfert June 16, 1956 at Veedersburg. He survives.

She was a graduate of Veedersburg High School. She was a secretary for the Douglas-Nelson Abstract Company of Covington. She was a member of the Wabash Chapel Church and the Wabash Modern Mothers Home Extension Club of Covington.

Surviving, besides her husband, are: a daughter, Donna M. Seyfert, Covington; two sons, Steven L. Seyfert, Lebanon, Pennsylvania and Ronald W. Seyfert, Kingman; a brother, Charles D. Borst, Hillsboro; a sister, Pamela J. Songer, Indianapolis; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) in Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with the Rev. Paul Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wabash Chapel Church." – Fountain County Neighbor, March 25, 1997
