Maka was the son of Anderson Rufie and Paradise's Su-mi. He spent his puppy-hood living in Honolulu, Hawaii. He derived great pleasure in tearing up all things paper with a special fondness for toilet paper and telephone books.
He loved riding in the truck and would sit down properly when reminded of "the rules". He rode shotgun with his owner all the way from California to Texas and was able to recognize the reststops along the way.
He settled down in El Paso, TX and met his mate Buttermilk Biscuit with whom he had one litter of puppies before his owner did the "socially responsible thing". His children were:
